The image on this mug began as a Christmas vacation care project with a group of four-year-olds in the middle of a Perth summer. We made homemade snow globes in glass jars — because nothing says Western Australia in December like trying to manifest winter with glitter, water, loose parts and found objects.
At the time, I called the project If sad, shake.
It still seems like good advice, depending what’s on your hand.
