Welcome! By engaging with Vienna Parreno (trading as Play Lab Atelier), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These help ensure clarity, care, and respect for both your experience and my creative work.

1. Creative Works & Intellectual Property

All artworks, designs, photographs, workshop concepts, and materials created by me (Vienna Parreno) remain my intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

This includes:

  • Original artworks (digital or physical)

  • Sensory party setups, designs, and ideas

  • Educational resources, workshop content, and documentation

  • Photographs, video, and visual content from events or sessions

Please don’t copy, reproduce, sell, or distribute these materials without written permission. You're welcome to share and celebrate, just please credit respectfully.

2. Workshops, Incursions & Events - Bookings & Cancellations

Bookings for events, workshops, parties, and incursions are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment (as outlined at the time of booking).

Cancellation policy:

  • More than 14 days before the event: Full refund or credit

  • 7–14 days before: 50% refund or full credit toward a future date

  • Less than 7 days: Non-refundable, though I’ll always do my best to reschedule

  • If I need to cancel for any reason, I’ll notify you immediately and offer a full refund or new date.

3. Sales of Artworks & Commissions

All sales of artworks (including objects, drawings, digital works, and prints) are final. Due to the unique and handmade nature of the work, I do not offer refunds unless a piece arrives damaged in transit.

For commissions:

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required

  • The remaining balance is due on completion

  • Timeframes and scope are agreed upon in writing beforehand

4. Safety & Supervision (Workshops & Parties)

I take care to ensure all activities are age-appropriate, safe, and joyful. However:

  • Adult supervision 1:1, is required for all children unless otherwise arranged

  • Please advise me of any allergies, access needs, or medical concerns in advance

  • Participation is at your own risk; I am not liable for accidents, injuries, or allergic reactions if I haven’t been informed ahead of time

5. Photos, Children & Creative Documentation

I sometimes photograph or video parts of workshops, parties, and sessions to share the beauty of children's creativity - through my website, social media, or artist portfolio.

I follow early childhood best practice to protect children’s privacy and dignity:

  • No recognisable images of children’s faces will be shared unless explicit, written consent has been given by a parent or guardian

  • If publishing in any platform - children will be documented from behind, in profile, or through de-identified shots (e.g., hands only, cropped images, no names)

  • Families are always welcome to opt out of any documentation - just let me know

  • If you would like your child to be featured (e.g., in a birthday post), this can be arranged and confirmed in writing

I deeply respect the trust families place in me, and use all documentation with care and integrity.

6. Respectful & Inclusive Spaces

Play Lab Atelier is built on values of curiosity, creativity, and respect. Discrimination, unsafe behaviour, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to refuse service or remove participants to protect the wellbeing of myself or the group.
