The Atelier Comes to You

A gentle artist talk about making art in the midst of life
Hi, I’m Vienna - an early childhood teacher, artist (again), and mum of two.
This talk is really just a conversation. About starting again, after a long break. About how creativity can go quiet and then slowly come back in unexpected ways.
I’ll share a little about my journey through art school, leaving the art world behind for a while, and how becoming a parent shifted everything. I’ll also talk about some new projects I’m working on: from memory objects made from formula tins to playful installations that sit somewhere between early childhood and contemporary art.
This isn’t a polished “how to,” or a grand return. It’s more like an open sketchbook. A few thoughts on creative identity, developing a practice when you have very limited time, starting over, and the weird and wonderful ways art sneaks back into our lives.
If you’ve ever stepped away from your practice or are trying to find your way back to it , I’d love to share the space with you.

A gentle, artful 2 hour workshop for adults who need a reset.
Come as you are - stressed out, curious, creatively blocked, or just craving something real. In this hands-on session, you’ll explore unexpected materials and playful processes in a relaxed, welcoming space. Less “art class,” more creative permission slip.
Run by artist and early childhood educator Vienna Parreno, this workshop invites you to reconnect with your inner maker - the one who coloured outside the lines and didn’t care what anyone thought.
Perfect for small groups of up to 10, teams, retreats, or anyone needing a creative reframe.

Beautifully planned play-based celebrations for little people (and their grown-ups).
Hi, I’m Vienna. I’m an early childhood teacher, artist, and mum of two.
I create sensory-rich, developmentally thoughtful party experiences that feel just as magical as they are meaningful. Think: curated play invitations, hands-on experiences, open-ended materials, and a strong visual aesthetic - all grounded in what we know children actually love (and need) to thrive.
Whether it’s a birthday or another special occasion, each party is lovingly planned with:
Age-appropriate sensory play stations
Artful materials that spark imagination
Activities designed to support creativity, connection, and calm
Themed styling with a studio-art-meets-child’s-world twist
It’s part party, part early learning atelier.
Perfect for families who want something a little more thoughtful than the usual sugar-fuelled chaos - and still full of wonder.

A fun and tasty cultural incursion for curious little chefs
Join Vienna for a joyful food-based experience where children get to make (and eat!) their own halo-halo. Halo - Halo is a colourful, icy Filipino dessert that means “mix-mix.”
This hands-on incursion is part cooking, part cultural storytime, and all sensory fun. Children will explore the textures, colours, and flavours of halo-halo, learning about how food can tell stories and bring people together.
We will:
Scoop, layer, and mix delicious ingredients
Talk about colours, textures, and where food comes from
Hear a short story about family, food, and Filipino culture
Taste their own creations!
Perfect for early learning centres and lower primary.
All ingredients and materials provided. Just bring your appetite and curiosity!
